Interview with SORTED magazine editor Steve Legg
For those people who don't know you can you introduce a bit about yourself?I'm Steve from Littlehampton in West Sussex. Husband, dad, author, magazine editor, creative guy, Christian
How did you get into performing magic and how long have you been a magician for?I saw Paul Daniels make an elephant disappear when I was 12 and have been hooked ever since. I’ve been a professional entertainer for the last 27 years and use magic and comedy to communicate the Gospel to young and old.
As a Christian, what's your vision behind the magazine? To have a high-quality non-cringey men’s lifestyle magazine that would encourage Christians in the faith but also be appropriate to pass onto their pals, without being embarrassed.
Will England win the Ashes? Are they still in it? No idea, but here’s a cricket joke for you: What do you call an Australian who’s good with a bat? A Vet

What is 'Sorted Magazine' and how did it come about? My accountant was complaining about his 10 year old son’s mates bringing lads mags into the school playground and was saying it would be wonderful to have a Christian version that was good and wholesome, so it got me thinking and so Sorted was born, nearly eight years ago.
How did you become a Christian?I joined the Boys’ Brigade in Bournemouth as a 13 year old, mainly because I knew we could play lots of football and I’d heard there was a Girls’ Brigade. We went on a summer camp to Devon and there was a vicar there who explained the Gospel in a way I understood. I figured I had to do something about this amazing message and have never looked back.
Do you enjoy cricket?I’m afraid I’m a football fan and know nothing about cricket.
Who is your favourite cricket team and player?Well I bumped into Phil Tufnell at Gatwick once - I think he played for Middlesex United back in the day (did I say I know nothing about cricket?)
